Sober Story - Simon Fairwheater

Once you dive in the deep end and get a few days or weeks under your belt you will feel so good that you will never want to go back to the way you were before.

~$20 per day

Today I am 4 months sober from alcohol.

After many day 1’s, I am proud to say that this time it is sticking. It’s taking a lot of work but having a daily reminder of how far I’ve come, coupled with the daily motivation has made a big difference in my recovery. At the height of my addiction I was spending around $140 a week on alcohol. My tip for anyone trying to get sober is this - do everything you possibly can to get sober and remain sober. Apps, podcasts, books, therapy.
